IT WAS the last place Monica Loughman expected to find love. She heaved her hot and bothered baby son onto her hip - she had forgotten the buggy - and tried with her free hand to get her groceries through the self checkout in her local Tesco in Rathfarnham. Life as a single mother running an ambitious ballet company could be a lonely juggle, especially when Damien's Russian father, Robert Gabdullin, was so immersed in his career as a soloist in the Polish National Ballet.
