Summary


FOR the past five years I've flitted back and forth between London and Romania. As a TV producer, I've been making use of the country's competitive labour rates and budding film facilities to shoot classic titles such as Boudicca with Alex Kingston, Sweeney Todd with Ray Winstone and, most recently, The Wind In The Willows with Matt Lucas and Bob Hoskins.

When I was given this last commission to produce Kenneth Grahame's bucolic idyll for the BBC and realised I would be going back east again, I decided to fulfil one of my fantasies and head out by motorbike.
