If something has been proven to be popular, you can bet it'll be repackaged and sold back to us again. So it is always in television, and this week's highlights have three different examples of how it's done.

The big hitter is Collision (Monday-Friday, ITV1, 9pm), which hedges its bets by playing two tricks: firstly, it follows the BBC's lead in scheduling a five-part drama on consecutive nights (the appropriately titled Five Days started this trend, successfully repeated by Criminal Justice and Torchwood); secondly, the story idea is like a British version of the 2004 Oscar-winning movie Crash.
