ARMY singing sensations The Soldiers are to perform for troops in Afghanistan in a morale-boosting New Year concert.
The trio - all serving soldiers - have become a surprise hit with their debut album Coming Home selling 500,000 copies in just six weeks. The record's producer Nick Patrick confirmed last night that the trio - Sgt Major Gary Chilton, Sgt Richie Maddocks and Trooper Ryan Idzi - are in talks with the Ministry of Defence to fix a date to sing on the front line.
