Summary
Julia Langdon's view last week that vets exist mainly to extort money from well-meaning pet owners is totally incorrect and unfair. She obviously has no idea how hard it is to train to be a vet - only caring, dedicated, animal-lovers make it.
British people are cushioned by the NHS so most do not recognise the true price of healthcare. Has Ms Langdon any idea of the cost of running a practice with all the equipment, staff, and huge costs of property, to care for your sick pets?
