He insisted it was not a cowboy outfit but was registered with the Office of Fair Trading, so I paid Pounds 1,500 for GCG to collect money owed to my firm. All I have since had from the company is a change of address.

However, in May I received a fax advertising Network Debt Recovery Ltd. The wording and even the phone number were identical. I called and a representative tried to sell me the same deal.
