Summary
WHEN David Cameron asked me to face Nick Griffin on Question Time, I couldn't say no. For someone of my background, it was too important an opportunity to take on what I see as the most spiteful party in British politics.
The day itself was incredibly tense. I had done Question Time many times before, but when I arrived the BBC Television Centre was under siege. The violence was completely inexcusable and I believe only played into the hands of the BNP.
