The Ledbury huntsmen have become so used to being front-page news that when the media descended on a country-house hotel at the foot of the Malvern Hills last Friday, to cover what threatens to be the hunt's final ever legal Opening Meet, Fleet Street's newshounds and the men in charge of the foxhounds greeted each other like old friends.
