Summary
According to the Environment Agency, some parts of eastern England are still experiencing a drought with low groundwater levels.
The exceptionally dry spring was felt mostly in Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire and, despite some wetter weather in recent months, the shortfall remains.
