ARSENAL are ready to sue the Football Association for compensation after England's failure to spot the seriousness of Sol Campbell's injury during Euro 2004 left the champions without their key centre-half for six weeks at the start of this season.

Campbell also looks set to miss the opening matches in England's World Cup qualifying campaign in September after Sven Goran Eriksson's medical team allowed him to play in Portugal with a worsening Achilles heel problem.
