So the great Sir Terence Wogan states that the BBC overpays its stars. Well he would say that now, wouldn't he? The BBC is a goldplated gravy train upon which he has ridden for years, and in as many 'carriages' as possible - TV chat shows, radio, the Eurovision Song Contest ... Pardon me if I don't shed too many tears that he has taken a pay cut - that must be easy to do once you are already a millionaire courtesy of the licence-payer.
