MICHAEL JACKSON had agreed to allow a 'sober coach' to accompany him to Britain in a desperate attempt to wean himself off powerful prescription drugs.

Knowing Jackson would refuse to go into rehab, his family consulted Californian drugs expert Dr Howard Samuels, known as Doc Hollywood, to try to 'save Michael from himself'.
