ENGLAND'S Ashes cricketers have spent the last 48 hours visiting First World War memorials in Belgium and Northern France to prepare for facing Australia.

The 16-man squad picked to form the team for the first Test at Cardiff on July 8 were told last week that they would be brought together for a 'training camp' this weekend, prior to their match against Warwickshire at Edgbaston, which starts on Wednesday.
